The Literary Prize Project started in the academic year 1997-1998, the idea being that any effort which encourages mature, enthusiastic and demanding readers in more than one language is an extremely worthwhile cause.

We have always believed, and still do so today, that the Literary Prize serves as an excellent way to promote literature among other young readers around the world.

Over the years, we have had renowned writers and distinguished guests who have presided over our award ceremony: Ana María Matute, Andreu Martín, Mª de la Pau Janer, Josep Guardiola, Juan Villoro, Salah Jamal, Matthew Tree, Aisha Miró, Ángela Becerra, Jorge Bucay, Javier Cercas, Baltasar Porcel, and Espido Freire. This has been a real honour for us and our Literary Prize.

In the attached links you can find the rules for the next competition, the books which contain winning stories from past competitions, and photos from our most recent award ceremony.

A tool for promoting literature amongst our own students and amongst others around the world.
