09 Sep Claire Neely welcomes the new school year
I am honoured to assume the role of principal this year. After 18 years of experience at this institution, I am deeply committed to our tradition of excellence and eager to continue to strengthen the St. Paul’s community.
Innovations for Digital Wellness
In response to growing concerns about the safe use of technology, we have made significant improvements in digital pedagogy to provide greater protection and support for students. Our aim is to ensure that children use technology safely and in a way that is appropriate to their stage of development.
By integrating Qustodio into our digital safety strategy, we enhance our ability to ensure a safe and productive online environment for all students. This initiative reflects our commitment to remain at the forefront of digital safety and wellbeing, providing our students with a safe and supportive learning experience.
Commitment to Nutritional Wellness
At St. Paul’s, we are committed to providing strong nutritional support to all students, and we are proud to announce the appointment of Maria Osaba as school dietitian. With her experience and expertise, we will continue to refine the focus on healthy eating, ensuring an environment that promotes the holistic wellbeing of the school community.
St. Paul’s Talks
St. Paul’s Talks, our dedicated space for families, offers informative talks, conferences and workshops throughout the year. This year, to ensure greater accessibility and participation we are launching a new format: events will be live streamed and available in podcast format. This change allows more people to access and benefit from these opportunities to hear leading speakers address current issues that impact both education and family life.
International Experiences
We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the International Office, numerous students are undertaking their studies in the USA, Canada and the UK during this first term. We are convinced that these international experiences offer exceptional opportunities for students’ personal and linguistic development, better preparing them for a global future.
The international office will continue to explore new opportunities and experiences for our students. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact Tina Ridge.
New Facilities
Last but not least, we continue to make progress with the construction of the new Primary building and The Cube for management and administration, spaces that we hope to open in January 2025.
With enthusiasm and a clear vision, I begin this school year focused on maintaining academic excellence and the well-being of our students.
