SCHOOL DINING ROOM

St. Paul’s has its own kitchen and dining room, where the preparation and quality of the food are rigorously controlled. “Laboratorios Echevarne” regularly inspects the preparation process and also analyses the menu to ensure the children receive a balanced diet.

Lunchtime is a time for social interaction, but also a time to learn about nutrition, table manners and the importance of a healthy, varied and well-balanced diet.

Our menu includes more than 150 organic ingredients which are all audited and certified by the authorised control body Intereco.  The fruit, vegetables, pulses, cereals, pasta, dairy and meat products are all officially registered and certified, enabling us to offer a completey organic menu.

The canteen at St. Paul’s was the first catering service to receive a distinction from Slow Food Cataluña KM0, an organisation who awards the establishments who prioritize local and ecological agricultural production, seasonal foods and avoid the use of transgenic products.

We prepare specific menus to meet any specific dietary needs a child may have, be they due to illness, allergy or religious reasons.

From P3 to PRI2  the children receive lunch and an afternoon snack, and from PRI3 to Bach2, they receive a mid-morning snack and lunch.
