KidSmart

KidSmart

KidSmart is part of a global initiative by IBM to encourage the development of technical competencies in young learners in schools today.  The project was started in 1998 and currently there are 60 countries participating in the program.

The KidSmart is a computer integrated in a child-friendly piece of furniture.  The computer is fully resourced with games and educational programs which teach children basic mouse skills, mathematical concepts, science and investigation abilities, logical thinking and problem solving.

The children in the Infant Section as well as the children in First and Second grade will be using the KidSmart to work with their classmates on activities which reinforce classroom learning.
THANK YOU IBM!!!!
